Flyers' prospect Stolarz makes World Junior team

Flyers goalie prospect Anthony Stolarz was named to Team USA’s World Junior roster on Wednesday morning.
 
He is a 2012 second-round pick.
 
The 6-foot-6, 220-pound native from Edison, N.J. is 16-3-1 this season playing for the London Knights of the OHL. He will turn 20 in January.
 
Stolarz has a 2.40 goals-against average, .929 save percentage and three shutouts in 22 games.
 
The World Junior Tournament opens Dec. 26 in Sweden. Team USA will compete in Group A with Team Canada, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Germany.
 
Training camp is Dec. 15-18 in Minneapolis.
