Eagles Stay or Go: Mosh's Part 4

In the fourth installment of our five-part offseason series examining the future of the Philadelphia Eagles, Geoff Mosher and Reuben Frank give their opinions on who will be and who won't be on the roster come the start of training camp. We go alphabetically -- part 4 is Kinne to Murphy. Here's Roob's.

QB G.J. Kinne: Perfect guy to run the scout team. Mobile, athletic QB with a good arm. He can be RG3 in practice one week, Eli Manning the next. STAYS

LB Jake Knott: Another 2013 rookie free agent who proved he could play at the NFL level. Knott’s an important part of special teams and can be a reliable backup as he develops. Might even push for a starting job down the road. Just has to stay healthy. STAYS

DE Joe Kruger: One of a handful of Eagles who didn’t play last year (injured reserve, shoulder) but has potential to jockey for playing time in 2014. Needs to have an impressive training camp. STAYS

DT/NT Bennie Logan: Lacks ideal size for the nose but developed nicely and helped push Isaac Sopoaga out the door. Eagles will probably address the defensive line this offseason, but they’ll find a spot for Logan. STAYS

OLB Travis Long: Has been compared to Connor Barwin for his ability to serve multiple roles. Teammates also like his pass rush. Lots of upside for the Washington State product who spent his first year on the practice squad. STAYS

WR Jeremy Maclin: Even after missing all of last year with his second ACL tear since the start of college, he’s worth keeping around. Even worth a little more up-front money if another team makes him a solid offer. STAYS

WR Jeff Maehl: Nobody can convince me that he projects as a better NFL prospect than B.J. Cunningham. GOES

CB Curtis Marsh: Really nice, really smart guy who’s aching to get some playing time to prove himself. But it’s telling that he hasn’t gotten that time. GOES

LG Evan Mathis: Guy couldn’t even make the Pro Bowl without help. Cut him! Just kidding. STAYS

OLB Casey Matthews: He’s still on the team? GOES

RB LeSean McCoy: One more year like last year and it’ll be time to start thinking about Shady’s Hall of Fame potential. STAYS

WR Ifeanyi Momah: Really needs to develop in his second offseason with the team and show the 4.4 speed that wasn’t evident last year when he put the pads on. If he makes progress, the 6-foot-7 wideout could be a heck of a weapon. STAYS

WR Will Murphy: If he had attended Oregon State, would he have spent 2013 on the practice squad? Things that make you go hmmm... GOES
