The Eagles on Saturday signed defensive end Eddie McClam after a workout. He wore No. 74 at Saturday's open practice at the Linc.

McClam, 24, spent time with the Lions in training camp last year after going undrafted out of Old Dominion. He was part of Detroit's final cuts.

In three seasons at ODU, McClam registered 107 tackles, 10 sacks and four forced fumbles.

McClam finished his ODU career with seven blocked kicks – six PATs and one blocked field goal. He finished one block shy of tying the FCS career record in blocked kicks.

McClam becomes the ninth defensive end on the Eagles' roster, joining Fletcher Cox, Cedric Thornton, Vinny Curry, Damion Square, Isaac Remington, Clifton Geathers, Joe Kruger and David King.
