Eagles re-sign B.J. Cunningham to prax squad
Share This Post

B.J. Cunningham is back with the Eagles -- for the third time this season.

One day after releasing Cunningham to clear room for Brad Smith, the Eagles re-signed the wide receiver to the practice squad Thursday and released former University of Delaware cornerback Marcus Burley.

This is the former Michigan State star's third stint this year with the Eagles. He was with the team in training camp, but was waived/injured after he suffered a foot injury. Cunningham re-signed with the Eagles on Oct. 14 and played in two games but was inactive for the past two games against Oakland and Green Bay.

Cunningham left Michigan State as the school's all-time leader in receptions (218) and receiving yards (3,806). He was originally drafted by the Dolphins in the sixth round of the 2012 draft.
