Eagles Injury Update: Chung uncertain vs. Giants
Share This Post

Eagles safety Patrick Chung once again didn’t participate in all of practice and was listed Friday on the injury report as questionable to play Sunday afternoon at the Meadowlands against the Giants.

Questionable means 50-50 chance to play, but Chung hasn’t been able to fully partake in any of the team’s nine practices since he injured his shoulder against Kansas CIty on Sept. 19 at the Linc.

It seems more likely that rookie Earl Wolff will make his second start at free safety alongside Nate Allen as the Eagles gear up to face the winless Giants (0-4) at MetLife Stadium for a 1 p.m. kickoff. The Eagles (1-3) will have a jog-through practice in shorts Saturday for their final preparation.

As for cornerback Brandon Boykin, he’s listed as probable. He was limited Wednesday by a shoulder contusion he sustained in Sunday’s loss to Denver but returned to full participation by Thursday and practiced fully Friday.

Defensive end/tackle Fletcher Cox surfaced on the injury report for the first time Friday, with an injured quad. He practiced fully, though, and is listed as probable to play against the Giants.
