Thad Young leaves game with hamstring strain
Share This Post

Thaddeus Young was forced to leave Monday night's game against the Magic after suffering a left hamstring strain.

Young did not return to the game. He will have an MRI on Tuesday.

Young suffered the injury while fighting for a loose ball with Orlando's Gustavo Ayon in the second quarter. Young ended up hitting the floor and stayed down in front of the Sixers' bench, clutching his left leg in pain. Young stayed down for several minutes before eventually being helped to the locker room.

Young played 15 minutes and had six points and five rebounds before leaving. The 6-foot-8 forward entered Monday night averaging 15.1 points per game and 7.4 rebounds in 46 games.
