Tonight's lineup: Rollins out again, Ruiz bats 2nd
Share This Post

A sore groin muscle will keep Jimmy Rollins out of the Phillies' lineup for a second straight night.

Freddy Galvis will play shortstop and Carlos Ruiz assumes Rollins' spot in the two-hole.

Rollins' injury comes at an inopportune time. He had hit .306 with a .370 on-base percentage in 13 games leading up to the injury, with four extra-base hits, five RBIs, five walks, seven runs and two steals.

Left-handed hitters Domonic Brown and Cody Asche return to the lineup against Blue Jays righty Drew Hutchison (see game notes).

Former Phillies catcher Erik Kratz, traded over the winter for reliever Brad Lincoln, is behind the plate in his return to Citizens Bank Park.
