Tonight's Lineup: Rollins off, Asche returns
Share This Post

Jimmy Rollins is off Thursday, when the Phillies wrap up their four-game series with the Dodgers in Los Angeles.

Freddy Galvis will start at shortstop in his place. It will be Galvis' fourth straight start -- he played the last three games at third base for Cody Asche, who is back in the lineup tonight.

Galvis is just 1 for 20 with two walks this season at the plate. Asche, hasn't been that much better either -- the young third baseman is 9 for 47 (.191), and three of those hits came on opening day. Asche pinch hit for Galvis yesterday in the seventh inning and popped out.

The Phillies will miss the bat of Rollins, who will get his first game off since missing a pair of contests in early April on paternity leave.

Kyle Kendrick (0-2, 3.60) opposes Dan Haren (3-0, 2.16) at 10 p.m. on CSN (see game notes).

Here is the Phillies' full lineup:

1. Ben Revere, CF
2. Carlos Ruiz, C
3. Chase Utley, 2B
4. Ryan Howard, 1B
5. Marlon Byrd, RF
6. Domonic Brown, LF
7. Freddy Galvis, SS
8. Cody Asche, 3B
