The Phillies on Sunday announced the broadcast schedule for the 2014 season.

Comcast SportsNet will carry 140 games -- including the 2:05 p.m. season opener against the Texas Rangers on March 31 -- and the Comcast Network will air nine games in April.

In addition, NBC 10 will broadcast the Phillies 12 times during the season beginning with the team's 3:05 p.m. home opener on April 7 against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Hall of Fame third baseman and Phillies legend Mike Schmidt, who recently completed six months of treatment for skin cancer (see story), has signed on with Comcast SportsNet to serve as a color man for all 13 Sunday home games this season.

Schmidt will join play-by-play man Tom McCarthy and either Matt Stairs or Jamie Moyer for special Sundays with Schmidt broadcasts.
